Goodwynn’s Rental Terms & Conditions

Before confirming your reservation, please carefully review the following terms and conditions. By submitting a rental reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.

1. What to Bring

When picking up your rental, you must present:

A valid government-issued ID
A credit card for security authorization

2. Responsibility for Equipment

You are fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of bikes, gear, or accessories during your rental period. All equipment will be inspected upon return. Any damages or missing items will be billed to the credit card on file.

3. E-Bike Rentals

E-MTBs are available by reservation only and for full-day rentals only, due to battery charging requirements.
E-bikes may not be reserved for half-day or hourly use.
A charger is included with every E-MTB rental.

4. Rental Pickup & Early Pickup Option

Standard full-day rentals may be picked up anytime between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM on the reservation day.
Early pickup is available between 7:00 PM–8:00 PM the night before your rental for an additional $20 early pickup fee. This option includes the charger, and bikes may still be undergoing final prep—so please allow time or enjoy a beverage while you wait.

5. Transport Requirements

All bikes must be transported using an approved method:

Hitch-mounted racks
Vertical racks
Truck tailgate pads

We will not release bikes to customers without a proper bike rack or tailgate pad. Placing bikes in trunks, hanging-style racks, or loose in truck beds is not permitted due to damage risk.

6. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to rent a bike. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the rental agreement.

7. Rental-to-Buy Credit

If you rent or demo a bike and decide to purchase a new one, one full day’s rental fee may be applied toward your purchase.
To compare models, you're welcome to demo multiple bikes on the same day for the cost of a single rental—just call ahead to coordinate.

8. Cancellations & Fees

Cancellations may be subject to a $20 setup and service fee.
No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in additional charges per our cancellation policy.

9. Security Deposit & Payment Authorization

A temporary hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of rental. This hold will be released once the bike is returned and passes inspection.
By submitting your reservation, you authorize Goodwynn’s to charge the card on file for:

Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning
Late returns

Late returns are subject to a fee of up to twice the original rental rate.
