Newbury Park Bike Shop has rental bikes available for those that are coming in from out of town, or want to ride a nice comfortable Cannondale Super 6 carbon fiber road bike. We will have your bike ready to ride at the Cow Palace and will pick it up in Santa Monica. This means you can focus on the ride and enjoying this great event. Limited quantities available. DANGEROUS SPORT AND AGREES NOT TO HOLD NEWBURY PARK
BICYCLE SHOP, INC. LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INJURIES THAT MAY RESULT FROM USAGE OF THIS RENTAL BICYCLE. WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF A HELMET.
2: RENTER AGREES TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
A: LOSS OF BICYCLE DUE TO THEFT
B: DAMAGE TO THE BICYCLE DUE TO CRASHING OR JUMPING
C. ANY DAMAGE THAT CAUSES THE BICYCLE TO NEED PARTS
REPLACED OR OVERHAULED
D. SUBMERSION OF THE BICYCLE IN WATER ABOVE THE
HUBS OR BOTTOM BRACKET
3: RENTER AGREES TO PAY FULL RETAIL PARTS AND LABOR FOR
ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY HIS/HER USAGE
4: RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THE BICYCLE CLEAN. RENTER WILL BE CHARGED A $75 CLEANING FEE FOR ANY BICYCLE RETURNED DIRTY.
5: THIS IS A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT. BY SIGNING THIS CONTRACT, THE RENTER AGREES TO ALL OF THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE CONTRACT.
This is a contract of renting only and not of sale, the undersigned renter agrees that he has rented the item(s) herein described upon the express condition that it will at all times remain the property of the rental agent named above, that he has examined said item; found it to be in good condition and will return it in as good condition as when he received it, ordinary wear and tear excepted; that he will return at once to the rental
agency any item not functioning normally; that he will pay promptly when due all
charges which accrue because of this rental, including damages to said item. In the event the renter fails to return said item at the agreed time or fails to abide by any of
the other terms of this contract, the rental agency may repossess it without notice to the
renter, and the rental agent is hereby released from all claims arising there from. All charges are based on the time item Is in renter's possession whether in use or not. The
rental agent is not responsible for accidents or injuries caused directly or indirectly in the use of the rented item.
Rentals May be Canceled 72 hours before reservation without penalty. Rentals Canceled within 72 hours of pickup are non refundable.
