Ready to take your riding to the next level? This clinic is built for riders who are comfortable on basic trails and want to progress their skills with more speed, efficiency, and control. We’ll refine cornering, braking technique, climbing, descending, and introduce more advanced trail features in a safe, structured way. Our coaches help you push your limits while staying smooth and confident on the bike. Perfect for adults and youth ages 12+ (with a parent) who want to ride stronger and smarter. Progress starts here.
To ensure a safe and successful experience at the LITW Ride School, please review the following requirements before the start of camp.
Before arriving at camp, please ensure your rider is equipped with the following:
A Well-Maintained Bike: The bicycle must be in good working order. Tires must have knobby tread and hold air, and all components should be functional. While the bike does not need to be new, it must be trail-ready.
Proper Safety Gear: A properly fitted helmet and closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all participants.
Hydration & Nutrition: Riders must supply their own water (via a bike-mounted bottle or a hydration backpack) and snacks.
Emergency Spare: Please provide one bike tube that fits your rider's specific tire size.
To participate in our MTB sessions, riders should meet the following criteria:
Experience: Ideally riders will have previously taken the Trail Fundamentals clinic prior to Trail Progression. At minimum, riders must be able to comfortably ride trails navigating rocks and roots, and be ready for progression.
Braking & Gearing: The bike must be equipped with front and rear handbrakes (no coaster/pedal brakes) and selectable gears.
Endurance: The ability to ride 5+ miles without stopping.
Control: The ability to ride in a straight line, navigate gentle hills, and come to a complete stop independently.
Independence: The rider must be able to get on and off the bike without assistance.
