Legacy Trail Banff to Canmore E-Bike Tour
The Legacy Trail from Banff to Canmore offers phenomenal views of the Bow Valley and is entirely free of vehicle traffic as it is a separated bike path. This guided ride begins at our bike shop in Banff, where we are just a few blocks from the start of the Legacy Trail. On our way to Canmore, we make a few scenic stops, including the beautiful Cascade Ponds. Once in Canmore we explore the beautiful river pathway and also visit downtown. Then we sit down for a delicious à la carte lunch at the Harvest Café before biking back to Banff.
Everyone will ride on the Trek Verve+ 3 E-bikes. The e-bikes makes the hills to and from Canmore a relative breeze.
The ride from Banff to Canmore is 25 kilometres / 31 miles, which takes about 1.5 - 2 hours each way.
