Rental Acknowledgement & Damage Insurance Policy
Acknowledgment of Personal Information & Equipment Instruction
I have accurately represented the above listed information and it is true and correct. I will not use any of the equipment to be provided to me during this transaction until I have received instruction on its use and I fully understand its use and function.
Rental Policy
- All renters must be 18 years of age otherwise a parent/guardian signature is required
- Registering information online does not guarantee that the proper gear will be available on arrival. Reservations for gear must be made in person and are secured by paying for the rental in full.
- Repairs & Cleaning: All items should be clean (free of excess dirt, snow, etc.) when returned. Please allow roughly 10 minutes for items to be inspected upon return.
- Daily rentals returned after the agreed upon date will be assessed the daily charge per day late.
- Season rentals not returned by the end of the season (5/31/2025) will be charged $25 per individual.
- Season rentals not returned within 1 month of return date will be charged the full purchase price for the gear, this is in addition to the $25 charge for a late return.
- Lost or stolen rentals will be charged the vendor’s MSRP for the gear.
- As we are located away from the mountains, SNOBAHN allows for a buffer day upon rental and return, by discretion of the Team member that is dispatching the rental gear. Ex: if a client rents for 3 ski days, but needs to pick up the gear the evening prior to skiing and return the morning after skiing, that client may be charged for 3 days of rental while in possession of the skis for 5 actual days.
Damage Insurance:
Damage Insurance is available for an additional fee. Damage insurance with SNOBAHN covers damage beyond that of normal wear and tear during skiing/snowboarding (Ex: excessive base damage, core shots, broken poles, etc). Damage insurance with SNOBAHN does NOT cover loss or theft of the rental gear while it is in the possession of the renter, or extensive damage that is considered by us to be negligence (Ex: skiing across the road or into the parking lot, gear falling out of, or off of, vehicle, etc). A rental employee with SNOBAHN will assist the renter in signing up for damage insurance. The addition of the "extra" listed as "Damage Insurance" to the renter's item(s), in addition to payment, will be considered, by SNOBAHN, as completion of the Damage Insurance agreement.
