------ Ideal Bike operates a business whereby it provides bicycles and accessories for rental to the public. The Renter wishes to rent one or more bicycles and accessories (the Rental Equipment) from Ideal Bike for a period of time (the Rental Period) and in consideration of said details, the Renter agrees as follows.
1. I am of lawful age and competent to sign this Assumption of Risk and Release which I sign of my own free will.
2. I agree that prior to using any Rental Equipment, I shall inspect it for existing damage, flaws or malfunctions (if any) and report these to Ideal Bike’s staff.
3. I agree to return the Rental Equipment to Ideal Bike at the pre-established time and place and in the same
condition in which I found it at the time of said inspection, except for reasonable wear and tear, said reasonable wear and tear to be determined solely by Ideal Bike’s staff.
4. I agree to assume full liability for any replacement or repair costs in the event that the Rental Equipment is lost, stolen or damaged during the Rental Period.
5. I acknowledge that Ideal Bike reserves the right to request and I agree to provide a deposit and/or
pre-authorization of credit card payment for the full cost of repairing and replacing the Rental Equipment
should it be damaged, lost or stolen during the Rental Period.
6. I assume any and all liability for traffic infractions and related fines which result from the use of the Rental Equipment during the Rental Period.
7. I assume all risk and danger of bodily injury or death for myself and those whom I am responsible at law
incidental to the use of the Rental Equipment whether due to the negligence of Ideal Bike, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents otherwise.
8. I agree that Ideal Bike, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents are not liable for any injury, death or damages whatsoever arising from the use of the Rental Equipment during the Rental Period.
