Wheel Away Cycle Center

All demo riders must wear a helmet while riding the bike
The minimum age for renting a bike is 18 years old
People under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who can assume all responsibilities
We require a photo ID and a credit card for each rental
Bicycle rentals are due back on the date agreed upon by Wheel Away Cycle Center
Delays can be subject to additional charges
Bikes must be transported safely and securely to and from the trail
Demo payment may be applied to the purchase of a new bike within 30 days of rental

Hitch Tray Racks
Tailgate Truck Pads
Roof Rack (excludes E-Bikes)
Inside of car/van (bikes cannot be stacked)

AGREEMENT ASSUMING ALL RISKS AND RELEASING LIABILITY

I acknowledge: 1) That I am competent to perform a safety check and will personally perform a safety check of the bicycle I will ride prior to my ride.

2) That I am competent to safely ride the bicycle and will observe safe riding practices and obey all laws. 3) That I will wear all appropriate safety equipment at all times, including a bicycle helmet. 4) That bicycling is inherently dangerous, presenting a great number of risks, such as the risk of falling, colliding with other riders, encountering hidden obstacles or varying terrain, or the risk of injury from any failure of the bicycle or any of its components 5) That I freely and expressly accept all risks associated with bicycling on my demonstration ride, including all risks of injury or death, 6) Wheel Away Cycle Center, Inc. is not responsible for the selection of trails and/or streets of the demonstration ride, 7) I accept for use, as is, the equipment in good condition and accept the full responsibility for care of equipment while in my possession. I will be responsible for the prompt replacement at full retail value of all rental equipment not returned or damaged, other than reasonable wear and tear, which results from the use of this equipment. ON MY OWN BEHALF, AND ON THE BEHALF OF MY HEIRS, ASSIGNS, AND PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, I HEREBY FULLY AND FOREVER DISCHARGE AND RELEASE WHEEL AWAY CYCLE CENTER, INC, AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, RETAILERS, VENDORS, SUPPLIERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SPONSORS, INSURERS, AND ALL OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIM, DAMAGE, LOSS, COST OR EXPENSE, ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE DEMO RIDE AND/OR USE OF A DEMONSTRATION BICYCLE. I expressly agree that the foregoing agreement shall be construed to provide the parties being released with the broadest relief possible. If any portion is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, and any litigation between the parties shall be filed in the Municipal or Superior Court of the County of Santa Clara, State of California.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelling, provide at least 48 hours before scheduled pick up time to receive a full refund. If cancelling within less than 48 hours, the dollars will be converted to store credit. If Wheel Away is not notified, then no refund will be provided.

I paid for a certain number of days, if I do not return the bike in time I will be charged for additional days. If I do not contact the shop for delays, I will pay the full value of the equipment rented.

I agree to return rental equipment by agreed date in clean condition to avoid additional charges.

I accept the terms of this agreement and accept responsibility for the above charges.
