1. Riders must ride within the limitations of their abilities.

2. Riders will obey local trail etiquette and rules.

3. Riders are responsible for any damage or repairs.  Insurance (offered in store) is not valid if riding outside of "regular use" as determined by Hardwood Ski and Bike. (Ie Gravel bikes are not appropriate for BMX parks).  Insurance does not cover theft, vandalism, or damage during offsite transportation. No modifications to the bike can be made by the renter.

4. Rental bikes must be returned during regular operating hours as determined by the rental type (onsite VS Offsite).

5. Offsite renters must have appropriate transportation.  Hardwood Staff will approve transportation means and have the right to  refuse rental if deemed inappropriate or unsafe.  Hardwood Ski and Bike and it's staff are not responsible for any damage to the vehicle for misuse of bike carriers or accidental contact with bike. 

6. All rentals come with a rental helmet.  There is no rebate if you provide your own helmet. 

7. Rental bikes are not permitted for use in races or competition.

8. No refunds within 24 hours of rental date.
