Rider Expectations

• Valid credit card and driver’s license, matching the name on the reservation, are required at pick-up.  

• Debit cards and cash are not accepted.  

• A signed liability waiver is required before using any equipment.  

• Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign a liability waiver.  

• A credit card pre-authorization may be applied at checkout.

• Bikes may be subject to a security deposit up to the full retail value.

Rental Pick-Up and Return

• Pick up rentals during regular business hours.  

• One-day rentals must be returned on the same day or within 24 hours of pick-up.  

• Multi-day rentals are charged in 24-hour increments.  

• Late returns incur an additional day rental fee.  

• Equipment not returned within 24 hours of the due date will be charged at the full retail MSRP.  

• Demo and late fees are non-refundable.

Reservations and Cancellations

• Reservations must be made through the corresponding store’s online booking portal.  

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up date are eligible for a full refund.  

• For multi-day rentals, early returns will be prorated based on the unused portion of the reservation

Damage and Loss Responsibility

• Renters are responsible for any damage incurred during use.

• Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged equipment will be charged at full retail value. Exercise caution to avoid theft.  

• Use of rental equipment in terrain or bike parks is prohibited without prior written authorization.  

• An optional Damage Waiver covers damage to the bike up to a predetermined monetary value or at a reduced cost, and waives all labor fees associated with the repair.  

  • Anything beyond the predetermined Damage Coverage dollar amount in repair costs when opting in to the Damage Waiver, or any amount of damage if you decline coverage, is the responsibility of the rider and must be paid in full upon return of the demo bike. 

• Repair costs may be automatically charged to the credit card on file without prior authorization.

Rental Credits Policy (Participating Specialized OR Locations Only)

• Rental credits may be applied toward the purchase of current-season Specialized bikes by refunding the original rental or demo transaction fees.

• Credits must be redeemed within 60 days of the last rental.

• Credits are valid only at the associated rental location and cannot be applied to prior model year bikes, used bikes, or online purchases.
