To rent any equipment with us please remember to BRING A CREDIT CARD FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT, OR ID/PASSPORT TO LEAVE WITH US WHILE YOU HAVE THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
Pick up times are as per your booked time slot, earlier pick-up's will be charged from time of collection and may not always be available. Summer hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday March 16th to Nov 14th, our winter rental hours are 10am-6pm 7days a week from Nov 15th to March 15th. There are a few scheduled closures and adjusted hours for holiday periods, please double check hours of operation and if you have any concerns reach out before booking.
RETURN POLICY
Return times are as per your booking. If you are going to be late or need to extend your rental please contact a staff member via email info@mooncycle.life or by telephone/text 250-344-7980, as soon as possible.
Any return of equipment brought back later than the planned return date/time on the confirmation, will entail further booking fee's by Moon Cycle Inc. at regular rental prices. If you need to contact us outside the business hours, you can email us at info@mooncycle.life. Reply time will vary depending on time of the day and shop managers availability.
CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATION IN CASE OF LOSS
In case the rental equipment is lost/stolen, the customer is financially liable for the item due to the negligence ending in loss. Please return to the store as soon as you can to notify us and pay for the lost/stolen item, depending on if the loss will impact our booking system you maybe charged an additional fee.
In the event of damage to the rental equipment beyond regular wear and tear, the customer will bring the damaged equipment to the store where it was rented, so it can be assessed for repair and the customer charged the repair fee.
RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to provide us with the appropriate personal information (such as height, weight, and all other relevant information needed) so we can set the equipment adequately. It is also your responsibility to read the full Terms and Conditions and complete a waiver before arrival.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICYYou can cancel your booking and get a full refund minus a 5% admin fee if you notify the store more than 72hrs before the pick-up time.
If you cancel with less than 72hrs notice, you will get a 50% total booking price refund. For example, a pick-up on Saturday 9am will have to be cancelled before Wednesday 9am in order to get a full refund minus a 5% admin fee.
On the day of the pick-up, or once the reservation has started, there will be no refunds, for early returns there will be no refund.
You can reschedule your booking by notifying the store more than 72hrs of the pick-up time for free. If less than 72hrs notice is provided there is a one day rental fee charge that will be added to your the total of your booking.
Extending your booking can only be made subject to availability.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AND ID VERIFICATION
To cover your security deposit, please remember to BRING A CREDIT CARD FOR THE PRE-AUTHORISED DEPOSIT, OR ID/PASSPORT TO LEAVE WITH US WHILE YOU HAVE THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
Bike Pre-Authorisation $500 per Mountain or DEMO Bike booking, $200 per Hard-tail/Town-Bike Booking.
TO VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY AT PICK-UP, please bring a government issued valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to verify your identity when you collect your rental gear. Rental equipment can only be picked up by the person on the booking, with the matching credit card from fee payment.
