Terms and Conditions

            Definitions:

            TB: Torrance Bikes

            The Vehicle: Bicycle or E-Bike

            Renter: Person or persons wishing to operate The Vehicle

Renter agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein. This agreement is between Renter and TB and covers the rental of The Vehicle for its intended purpose of transportation.  TB will provide safety equipment (hereafter “Equipment”) defined as helmets, locks, lights, batteries, and related accessories. An additional fee is required for all Equipment other than helmets or locks. All definitions used in this document include the singular as well as the plural.

Credit Card Authorization.  A Credit Card deposit (called an “Authorization”) for the value of the bicycle is required. That amount will be held on your credit card and may show up as a “Pending Sale” on your statement.  The credit line is not immediately restored upon return of the rental items. The length of the delay depends on the issuing company of the credit card.  We cannot expedite this process.  We recommend against using a debit card for your security deposit.

Please Note:

1. Copies of ID & Credit card is mandatory.

2. Renter needs to deposit $1500.00+/each for E-Bike Rentals

Third-Party Reservation Authorization.  TB may authorize third parties to make reservations on behalf of TB.  The third parties may not make any representations or warranties other than those contained within this Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.  TB retains the final authority to approve any such reservations, retains the sole authority to enforce its cancellation policy, and reserves the right to terminate its third-party reservation authorizations at any time.

Cancellation Policy.  Reservations may be rescheduled at no additional charge if TB is given at least 48 hours’ notice by email or phone. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the pick-up time, but greater than 24 hours of the pick-up time shall be charged a cancellation fee at 25% of the rental price.  Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the pick-up time shall be charged a cancellation fee at 50% of the rental price.
