This agreement is for rental only and is not a sale. All bicycles, helmets, locks, accessories, and related rental equipment remain the property of Bicycles International.

Rental Age Requirement

The person renting and/or picking up rental equipment must be 18 years of age or older.

If any rider is under 18 years old, the rental must be booked by the rider's parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the entire rental, including payment, damage, loss, theft, late return, and compliance with all rental terms. The parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of rental pickup.

Group Rental Requirement

Every rider in a group must complete and sign their own rental waiver before bikes are released.

Bicycles International may delay or refuse release of rental equipment until all required waivers are completed.

Rental Equipment Condition

By accepting this rental, the renter confirms that the rented equipment has been received in good condition and agrees to return all rented equipment in the same condition, except for ordinary wear and tear.

The renter agrees to immediately stop using and return any item that is not functioning properly or safely.

Rental Charges

All rental charges are based on the time the equipment is in the renter's possession, whether the equipment is being used or not.

The renter is responsible for all rental charges, late fees, damage, loss, theft, missing equipment, and any other charges that occur while the rental equipment is in the renter's possession.

Flat tires are considered damage and are not included in the rental cost.

Late Returns

Rental equipment must be returned by the agreed return date and time. Late returns may result in additional rental charges.

Damage, Loss, Theft, or Missing Equipment

The renter is responsible for repair or replacement costs for any lost, stolen, damaged, or unreturned equipment.

Current replacement values may include, but are not limited to:

Helmet: $70
Lock: $30
Trek Verve 1 bicycle with rack/accessories: $800

Cancellation Policy

No refunds are provided for canceled reservations.

Right To Refuse Rental Release

Bicycles International may delay or refuse release of rental equipment if required waivers are not completed, payment is not complete, identification cannot be verified, the renter is under 18, the responsible parent/legal guardian is not present when required, or the rental appears unsafe or inappropriate.

Failure To Return Rental Property

Failure to return rental property or equipment after the rental period ends, and failure to pay all amounts due including damage costs, may be treated as abandonment or refusal to return rental property under section 812.155, Florida Statutes.
