Blue
Mountain E-Bikes Terms and Conditions:
When
you rent from us, we will:
Review
the e-bike and its features with you.
If
needed, provide you with a helmet and lock.
Provide
a short skills test and watch you ride the bike. If we think that
you may not have the necessary skills to ride the bike, we have the
right to refund your money and cancel the rental.
Cover
the terms and conditions of your rental with you.
Your
safety is most important to us.
In
order to rent our e-bikes, you MUST
be at least 18 years old with a government-issued ID, cell
phone number, email address and a major credit card. Riders between
the ages of 16 and 18 must also have a valid government-issued ID and
must be accompanied and signed for by a parent renter. There is a 275
lb weight limit for the e-bikes.
Rental
Policies
A
driver’s license and a credit card are required.
Riders
must sign our Liability Waiver.
E-bike
rentals may be canceled due to rain/wet/icy trails – full rental
credit for weather related cancellations will be issued.
Reservation
Details
Cancellations:
All reservations must be canceled 12 hours prior to the scheduled
date of the e-bike pick up.
No
Call/No Show: Failure to pick up your bike will result in 100%
forfeiture of payment.
Early
Returns: There are no refunds once the bike is picked up and paid
for.
Late
Arrivals: Late arrivals will be charged the full amount. Always
be sure to double check your pick-up date and time.
Late
Returns: Bikes must be returned no later than closing time on the
due date or be subject to additional charges.
Rental
Day: A rental day is a 24+ hour day ending the following day at
4:30 pm.

Details:
Credit
Card and Driver’s License/Passport/Government issued ID are
required for all rentals.
Prices
do not include sales tax.
Your
bike may become unavailable due to circumstances out of our control.
You will receive a full refund and be notified in the event Blue
Mountain E-Bikes is unable to provide a rental.
During
the rental, the rider is required to comply with the rules of the US
Highway Code. Blue Mountain E-Bikes rejects any liability for
improper use of the bike or the rider’s failure to comply with the
regulations of the US Highway Code. Failure to comply with these
rules could result in the issuance of a ticket by the authorities.
The renter will be responsible for the payment of this ticket.
Blue
Mountain E-Bikes can refuse to rent to people under the influence of
alcohol or drugs or for any other reason justified by the judgment of
the company.
In
the event of loss of helmet, lock, bag or any other accessories of
the vehicle or damages, the renter will pay the necessary amount to
restore the vehicle to its original condition or replace keys,
according to the estimate of the supplier. In case of theft or total
loss of a bike, the renter will be charged the cost of the e-bike or
item they have damaged or lost. Note: E-bikes used for rental range
from $1600 to $2200 at Blue Mountain E-Bikes.
The
e-bike must be returned within the time slot indicated in this
contract to the same place where it was rented from. The e-bike will
be considered returned only when it is returned to a representative
of Blue Mountain E-Bikes in person. Failure to return the bike
without prior notice or without proven exceptional circumstances will
be considered an act of theft and the renter will be reported to the
police.
Each
bike is equipped with a lock. If the renter decides to park the bike
in any location, the lock must be used to secure the bike. In the
event of theft of the bike, the renter must file a report to the
authorities and provide Blue Mountain E-Bikes with a copy of the
theft report. The renter will be billed the agreed amount as
compensation for the stolen bike. If the bike is found, fully
recovered in the same condition it left the shop, the sum will be
returned to the renter.
All
riders must wear proper safety equipment, including a helmet.
