Ski Hut Adventure Center
I accept for use AS IS the equipment listed on this form, and accept full financial responsibility for the care of the equipment while it is in my possession. I will be responsible for the replacement at full value of any equipment rented under this form, but not returned to the rental facility. I agree to return all rental equipment by the agreed date.
I understand that the binding system cannot guarantee the user's safety. In downhill skiing, the binding system will not release at all times or under all circumstances where release may prevent injury or death, nor is it possible to predict every situation in which it will release. In snowboarding, cross-country skiing, skiboarding, showshoeing and other sports utilizing equipment with non-release bindings, the binding system will not ordinarily release during use; these bindings are not designed to release as a result of forces generated during ordinary operation.
I understand that the sports of skiing, snowboarding, skiboarding, snowshoeing and other sports (collectively "RECREATIONAL SNOW SPORTS") involve inherent and other risks of INJURY and DEATH. I voluntarily agree to expressly assume all risks of injury or death that may result from these RECREATIONAL SNOW SPORTS, or which relate in any way to the use of this equipment.
I understand that a helmet designed for RECREATIONAL SNOW SPORTS use will help reduce the risk of some types of injuries to the user at slower speeds. I recognize that serious injury or death can result from both low and high energy impacts, even when a helmet is worn.
I AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS the equipment rental facility, its employees, owners, affiliates, agents, officers, directors, and the equipment manufacturers and distributors and their successors in interest (collectively "PROVIDERS"), from all liability for injury, death. property loss and damage which results from the equipment user's participation in the RECREATIONAL SNOW SPORTS for which the equipment is provided, or which is related in any way to the use of this equipment, including all liability which results from the NEGLIGENCE of PROVIDERS, or any other person or cause.
I further agree to defend and indemnify PROVIDERS for any loss or damage, including any that results from claims or lawsuits for personal injury, death, and property loss and damage related in any way to the use of this equipment.
This agreement is governed by the applicable law of this state or province. If any provision of this agreement is determined to be unenforceable, all other provisions shall be given full force and effect.

Ski Hut Rental Bicycle Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
When you book your reservation, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other customers. If you cannot make your booking, please call the shop as soon as you know you will not be able to honor your reservation.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you notify us via phone call at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations between 24 and 72 hours will receive a 50% refund and cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are ineligible for a refund. Rental bikes are in high demand and your advanced notice will allow another customer access to that reservation time.
Late Fees & Early Return Policy
Late Fees
Customers are required to return rental bike(s) by the date and time listed when reservation is booked. A return is considered late if not returned prior to this time. Each bicycle returned up to 60 minutes late will be charged a late fee equal to 50% the first day's rental rate; all bicycles returned more than an hour after the reservation was scheduled to end will incur a fee equal to double the first day's rental rate on a per-bicycle basis.
Early Return
Once a reservation has been placed rental bikes are marked as unavailable to other customers for the duration of the booking. Since this time block is no longer bookable by other customers refunds are not available for bikes returned prior to the selected end date/time.
Statement of Physical and Mental Fitness, Insurance, And Bike Safety:
a. I understand that biking requires certain physical strength and entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties.
b. I am in sound physical and mental condition and can ride a Bicycle. I can make informed, objective decisions. I currently have no known physical, medical, or mental condition which would impair my ability to ride a Bicycle, or else I understand I assume all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.
c. I am completely and adequately covered by appropriate personal insurance coverage which may include health, life, loss of property, loss of income, and liability I may cause or suffer while riding the Bicycle or else I understand I must solely bear the costs of such injury or damage and all related costs.
d. I acknowledge that I have been advised to wear an approved helmet and reflective or white clothing and a light if biking after sundown. I am aware that electric biking is subject to all applicable municipal and provincial highway traffic regulations. I am familiar with the proper use of the Bicycle. I am aware that there are technicians available to answer any questions that I may have as to the proper use of the Bicycle.
Charges for loss and/or damage to the Bicycle:
Renter understands that all charges are not final and are subject to an audit of the returned bicycle. Renter specifically agrees and authorizes Ski Hut Rental, LLC to make any charges by credit card if there is damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Prohibited Use of the Bicycle:
Renters will not use or permit the Bicycle to be used for hire, to be operated in a test, race, or contest, or to be ridden in water, or in any location that operation would be illegal or a nuisance to others. Renter will not use or permit the Bicycle to be used for any illegal purpose. A violation of this paragraph automatically terminates the rental and makes Renter liable to Ski Hut Rental, LLC for any penalties, fines, forfeitures, liens, recovery and storage costs, and any related legal expenses associated with a violation of this paragraph.
