Bike Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Agreement By renting a bicycle from The Meteor, the renter agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions. The renter must be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian sign on their behalf.

2. Rental Period The rental period begins when the bicycle is picked up and ends when it is returned to The Meteor. Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Payment & Security Deposit Full payment is required at the time of rental. A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon return of the bicycle in its original condition.

4. Bicycle Use The renter agrees to use the bicycle responsibly and follow all local traffic laws. The bicycle is for personal use only and may not be sub-rented or used for commercial purposes.

5. Condition of Bicycle The renter acknowledges that the bicycle is in good working condition at the time of rental. Any issues must be reported before leaving the rental premises.

6. Damage, Loss, and Theft The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the bicycle during the rental period. Charges for repairs or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit or billed to the renter.

7. Helmets and Safety Helmets are required. The renter assumes full responsibility for their safety while using the bicycle.  If you do not have a helmet, you may purchase one.  The Meteor does not provide a helmet.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver The renter acknowledges that cycling involves risks and agrees to release The Meteor from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the rental period.

9. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for early returns.
