TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Wheel Wranglers. We hope you enjoy your cycling experience. The following are our Terms and Conditions for rentals of bikes and other equipment:
Credit Card – All payments owing by the Customer will be charged to the Customer’s credit card. Wheel Wranglers accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
Booking and Deposit – Reservations are only accepted with 100% prepayment for your rental. A valid ID and credit card are required to be presented at the time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy – Up until 14 days before your rental starts, your prepayment is 100% refundable. Inside of 14 days before your rental starts, 50% of your prepayment is refundable. Cancellations within 72 hours of your rental are 100% non-refundable.
Payment and Rental Period –The Customer will be charged the daily and multi-day rental rates as shown on Wheel Wranglers’ website and agreed on at the time of reservation.
Delivery / Pick Up-
Wheel Wranglers offers delivery within our service area to any physical lodging or residence where you are a guest. Delivery is offered with 2-day minimum rentals only. Our service area includes the town of Jackson, South Park, Wilson, Teton Village and Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis.
We CAN NOT deliver to Grand Teton National Park, Caribou-Targhee or Bridger-Teton National Forests or other public lands, including lodgings, campgrounds, trailheads, visitor centers and/or parking areas therein.
We CAN NOT deliver to parking lots, parks, trailheads, visitor centers, private businesses or lodgings / residences where you are NOT a guest within the Town of Jackson or Teton County.
Delivery outside of our service area is an additional fee and is dependent upon availability.
Bikes may also be picked up at our shop and either ridden directly from the shop or transported on approved vehicle racks to ride starts.
Early Rental Returns - Wheel Wranglers is unable to offer a refund for return of rentals prior to rental period end time.
After Hours Returns - Wheel Wranglers is not able to accommodate returns outside of business hours. Any equipment returned to Wheel Wranglers outside of business hours will be charged a $50 fee.
Trailers - Trailers and tag-a-longs may only be rented and used with Wheel Wranglers bicycles. Personal equipment, including trailers, kid seats, and tag-a-longs may not be used with Wheel Wranglers bicycles. Pets, including but not limited to dogs and cats, are not allowed inside any Wheel Wranglers trailer. A $200 per day fee will be charged for violation of this policy.
Car Racks - Wheel Wranglers is not responsible for damage to vehicles or bicycles caused by car racks. By signing this document, user assumes all risk associated with use of car racks. Responsibility lies with the user to assess and approve the installation provided by JHBTG. E-bikes may only be transported on hitch-receiver style car racks or truck with truck pad approved by Wheel Wranglers. You are responsible for any damage to bicycle incurred during transportation.
Reservation Change Policy - Reservation changes, including equipment, reservation date, delivery time, pick-up time and delivery and pick up locations may be accommodated, subject to availability. Reservation changes, when possible, will incur a $25.00 change fee.
Extensions and Late Returns – Customers may request a Rental Extension to keep the equipment longer than the rental period. Rental Extensions are not guaranteed. All equipment not available for pickup by Wheel Wranglers at the end of the original or any extended rental period will be subject to a per day charge equal to 150% of the rate for the rental period.
Damage – It is expected that all gear used for rental and demo purposes will be returned in the same condition it was received in. However, if the gear is returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear or damage that renders the gear unusable, the customer will be responsible for those damages and the customer’s credit card will be charged for the cost of repair or the retail value of the equipment if it is unusable. The bottom line is to treat our gear like it’s your own.
Cleaning Fee - Bicycles returned to Wheel Wranglers with excessive mud, dirt or other debris beyond acceptable condition will be charged a minimum $50 cleaning fee for non-electric bikes and $100 for electric bikes. Hosing of any bicycle is not allowed and will result in a cleaning fee charge.
Electric Bicycles - Electric bicycles (e-bikes) may be operated by minors 16 years of age and older with direct parent/guardian supervision.
Customer agrees to ride electric bicycles in designated areas only. E-bikes are legal to ride on roadways, the Jackson Hole Pathway system and Grand Teton National Park Pathways. Electric bicycles are NOT ALLOWED on non-motorized trails in the Bridger-Teton National Forest including but not limited to the greater Snow King/Cache Creek trail system, Philips Ridge area, and Old Pass Road. E-bikes are allowed on routes designated "Roads Open to All Vehicles", "Trails Open to All Vehicles", "Trails Open to Vehicles 50" or Less in Width", and "Trails Open to Motorcycles Only." These opportunities can be found on the USFS Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs) at https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/btnf/maps-pubs. You are responsible for any fines, fees or confiscation of bicycle if you choose to ride on trails that are illegal to e-bikes.
Wheel Wranglers allows e-bikes to be transported on receiver hitch racks or truck pads that we approve of. We do not allow transportation of e-bikes on trunk racks, roof racks or in the interior of vehicles.
In the event of electrical or mechanical failure, field recovery or assistance may not be possible and you assume all risk operating an e-bike in a wilderness setting.
Multiple day rentals of our e-bikes include the battery charger.
Insurance – Upon reservation of your rental you will be offered the option of purchasing insurance to cover certain damages incurred while riding the bicycle. Damage insurance is not available for purchase on all bikes. We advise all customers to purchase insurance to potentially avoid any unexpected damage charges. Insurance does not cover total loss of bicycle, theft of bicycle or damage incurred during transportation of the bicycle. We recommend contacting your credit card company or homeowner/renter's insurance company for possible additional coverage.
Liability Waiver – Anyone who rents or demos equipment will have to sign our liability waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a liability waiver.
Rental to Minors – Bicycles and equipment will only be rented to adults age 18 or older. Minors can only utilize bicycles and equipment under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian must sign waiver and must be present.
Privacy – We are committed to keeping your information confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third party individual, government agency, or company at any time unless compelled to do so by law. We will use your e-mail address solely to provide timely information about Wheel Wranglers, and about your rental reservation, community events and occasional promotions. We will use your Mobile Phone to send you SMS text messages only for the same purposes.
