Cancellation Policy

Please cancel your rental reservation 72-hours ahead of time to avoid a cancellation fee. Bike rentals canceled with less than the 72-hour notice will be charged the full price of the rental. No shows or non-cancelled rentals will be charged for the reservation cost in full.

Rental Policies

Damage – It is expected that all gear used for rental and demo purposes will be returned in the same condition it was received in. We understand that this type of gear is subject to normal wear and tear (minor cosmetic damage), however, if the gear is returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear or damage that renders the gear unusable, the customer will be responsible for respective damages. The bottom line is to treat our gear like it’s your own.

Insurance - Upon pickup of your rental you will be offered the option of purchasing insurance to cover certain damages. We advise all customers to purchase insurance to potentially avoid any unexpected damage charges.

Liability Waiver – Anyone who rents or demos equipment will have to sign off on liability waiver in person at pickup. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a liability waiver.

Rental Duration -One day rental is equal to one business day with a pickup at business open (9am) and drop off by business close (5pm)

BRING YOUR ID: A valid ID and credit card are required to be presented at time of the bike or ski rental pick-up. The credit card is recorded, but not charged – unless needed in the case of damage.

All rentals/demos that are not brought back on time will be subject to a per day charge based upon the daily rate of the gear rented.

Rider (or legal guardian if Rider is a minor), states that Rider has read and understands this Waiver and Release of Liability Form of Allspeed Cyclery and Snow LLC, its owners, agents and employees and hereby expressly accepts and agrees to the following:

Risk of Personal Injury. Rider understands that riding a bicycle is an inherently dangerous activity. Risks include, but are not limited to: DEATH; INJURY TO BODY; DAMAGE TO BIKES, GEAR, AND CLOTHING; AND DAMAGE TO AND/OR INJURY TO OTHERS.

Conditions and Representations. Rider has not made any misrepresentations to Allspeed Cyclery and Snow, including, but not limited to:

Rider agrees that Rider is fully responsible for all damage or loss to the demo bike and any equipment (the “Equipment”) and agrees to pay for all repairs or replacement cost if the Equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged. Rider accepts the Equipment for use “as is”, and accepts full financial responsibility for the care of the Equipment while it is in Rider’s possession; including flat tires, paint scratches, bent parts.
All instructions for the use of the Equipment have been provided to Rider and Rider fully understands how to use the Equipment.
Rider understands that wearing a helmet may decrease the risk of head injury. Rider has a helmet and Rider agrees to wear a helmet at all times while biking and accepts any and all consequences of not wearing a helmet.
Rider agrees that the Equipment is working properly.
Rider is physically and mentally able to ride a bike and is familiar with bike riding, its physical and mental requirements, and risks involved.

Release of all Liability (Including Negligence). RIDER AGREES TO FULLY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE ALLSPEED CYCLERY AND SNOW FROM ANY LIABILITY for any damages, injuries, or claims, including any injuries or damages to Rider or other person or property, as a result of Rider’s demo of the Equipment and/or bike riding and Rider further understands and agrees to release Allspeed Cyclery and Snow for any negligence in causing in whole or in part any such injury.

Express Assumption of Risks. RIDER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES ALL RISK OF LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY OCCURRING AS A RESULT OF

BIKE RIDING.

Promise Not To Sue and Hold Harmless. RIDER FURTHER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY ALLSPEED AND HOLD IT HARMLESS FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, OR CLAIMS, including attorney’s fees and costs incurred by Allspeed, as a result of Rider’s demo of the Equipment and/or bike riding. Rider agrees that Rider’s obligation to indemnify and hold Allspeed harmless applies even if Allspeed is negligent. Rider understands this is a contract, which limits Rider’s legal rights, and it is binding upon Rider and Rider’s heirs, agents and legal representatives. If portions of this Waiver are invalid, it is agreed the remaining portions will remain intact and enforceable. By signing this Waiver and Release of Liability, Rider acknowledges she/he has fully read and understands the above and foregoing.

Demo Time One Business Day. THE RIDER AGREES TO RETURN DEMO BEFORE CLOSE OR THE INITIAL DEMO FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR EACH DAY DEMO IS LATE.
