I agree for myself, the minor children for which I am a parent or guardian, to release Cactus Adventures (The Mayor of Bike Town LLC), agents, and employees from any liability for damage or injury to myself or any person or property resulting from the use of this property & participation in renting a bike, hiking, or bike guided tour. I understand that mountain biking is a dangerous sport and I voluntarily participate despite the inherent risk in using this equipment and accept full responsibility for all such damage or injury to myself that may result. I will always ride responsibly and wear a helmet while riding the bike.

I accept for use, as is, that the equipment is in good condition and take full responsibility for the care of the equipment while in my possession. I will be responsible for the prompt replacement at a full retail value of all rental equipment not returned, or damaged, other than reasonable wear & tear, which results from using this equipment. I authorize Cactus Adventures (The Mayor of Bike Town LLC) to charge my credit card for any damage, loss, or expenses due to negligence or neglect. 

I will not make any modifications, repairs, or adjustments while the bike is in my possession. Any adjustments to the controls can be made prior to riding by a Cactus Adventures employee. Any modifications or adjustments are subject to a $50 fee. No exceptions.

All instructions on the use of the rental equipment have been made clear to me and I understand the charges and will abide by the following rules/instructions. 

I represent that I am in good physical health and capable of participating in the event I have chosen to attend. 

No credits or refunds are provided for early rental returns.

By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found in a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against Cactus Adventures based on any claim from which I have released them herein. I have read and understood this document and agree to be bound by its terms.

Lost or Stolen Bike - Dealer wholesale cost plus 10% of the complete bike

Bent derailleur hangar - $25

Broken derailleur - $100

Bent brake rotor - $40

Bent or broken brake lever - $60

Bent or broken wheel (front) $160

Bent or broken wheel (rear) - $200

Scratched or gouged fork lowers - $300

Scratch or gouged rear shock - $250

Scratch or gouged dropper post - $120

Bike wear items (no charge) - grips, tires, cables, chain
