PICK UP POLICY
Tuesday to Saturday rental : pick up the previous day between 5:30pm and 6:30pm or at 9:00am on the day of the booking
Sunday rental : pick up the previous day between 5:30pm and 6:30pm or at 10:00am on the day of the booking
Monday rental : pick up the previous day between 4:30pm and 5:30pm or at 9:00am on the day of the booking
Statutory Holiday rental : pick up at 11:00am (check with us for available previous day pick up)
For special pick-up please contact us and we will try to accommodate.
RETURN POLICY
Monday to Saturday rental : return between 5pm and 6pm on the last day of the booking
Sunday rental : return between 4pm and 5pm
Statutory Holiday rental : return at 4:30pm
For special drop-off please contact us and we will try to accommodate.
To rent any equipment with us please remember to BRING A CREDIT CARD FOR THE DAMAGE & SECURITY DEPOSIT, AND ID OR A PASSPORT TO LEAVE WITH US WHILE YOU HAVE THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
Any return of equipment made later than the planned return date/time on the confirmation, will entail further billing by Higher Ground Sports at regular rental prices. If you need to contact us outside the business hours, you can iMessage(text) us at highergroundms@icloud.com or email us at info@highergroundsports.ca. Reply time will vary depending on time of the day and shop managers availability.
CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATION IN CASE OF LOSS
In the case the rental equipment is stolen, the customer will be liable for the cost to replace the equipment on a like for like basis. In the event of damage to the rental equipment, the customer will bring the damaged equipment back to the shop where it was hired to be assessed for repair or replacement which will be the financial responsibility of the renter.
RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to have provided us with the appropriate personal information (such as height, weight, and all other relevant information) so we can set the equipment adequately. It is also your responsibility to read the full Terms and Conditions and complete the waiver document on collection of the products rented.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
You can cancel your booking and get a full refund if you notify the store more than 48hrs before the pick-up time. If you cancel with less than 48hrs notice, you will get a 50% refund. For example, a pick-up on Saturday 10am will have to be cancel before Thursday 10am in order to get a full refund.
On the day of the pick-up, once the reservation has started, there will be no refunds.
You can reschedule your booking by notifying the store more than 48hrs of the pick-up time for free. If less than 48hrs notice is provided there is a one day rental fee charge that will be added to your the total of your booking.
Extension to your booking can only be made subject to availability.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AND ID VERIFICATION
To rent equipment with us please remember to BRING A CREDIT CARD FOR THE DAMAGE & SECURITY DEPOSIT, AND ID OR A PASSPORT TO LEAVE WITH US WHILE YOU HAVE THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
For liability purposes, please bring a government issued valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to verify your identity when you collect your rental gear. Rental equipment can only be picked up by the person on the booking, with the matching credit card from fee payment.
