Street Legal Golf Cart Rentals
In exchange for the privilege to rent this golf cart, you are accepting responsibility for your
own negligence. You must operate this vehicle in a safe manner, and adhere to all rules set
forth StreetLegalGolfCartRentals.com and the State of Florida.
You are liable for all medical and legal claims that may arise from rental of the golf cart.
You voluntarily agree to accept the risks of using a golf cart and on behalf of yourself, your
personal representatives and your heirs hereby voluntarily release the aforementioned
business, and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions,
causes of actions, suits, judgments and demands for bodily injury, property damage, loss
of life and/or loss of services, in law or equity, that may in any way or manner arise out of
use of the golf cart.
- YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 years of age to drive and rent the golf cart. Must show proof of a valid driver license to DRIVE or RENT a golf cart. Under no conditions are you allowed to let another driver drive this vehicle, unless cleared by the staff upon signing of this waiver.
- Cart must remain on Roads with speed limits under 35mph and within city limits. Do not take cart on nature trails, BEACH/SAND, native grass areas, etc. DO NOT Drive on Highway 98, Bike Paths OR Sidewalks for ANY REASON.
- Maximum of 4 people on cart (6 on 6 passenger carts, etc) and all passengers must be seated. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED IN DRIVERS LAP (CAR SEATS AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL $10 PER RENTAL PERIOD).
- Anyone observed abusing golf cart rules and regulations will forfeit all rental privileges immediately WITHOUT REFUND. This includes reckless driving, allowing underage guests to operate the cart or violating Safe Operation of the Vehicle. Forfeiture due to violations will incur an additional $500 fee.
- You agree to pay for any Damage or Theft to the Cart, for any loss of items/accessories, up to and including TOTAL LOSS. Additional, you authorize us to charge your credit card on file for same.
- You further agree to pay for any costs we incur to collect for damages.
- Golf carts are often turned over to other customers immediately following pickup. All carts must be fully charged when picked up. Any carts BELOW 70% battery will be charged a $100 fee.
- It is strictly forbidden any individual without a valid driver’s license operate this vehicle. At no time may a minor have a hand or hands on the steering wheel when the vehicle is moving, NOR anyone UNDER AGE 21. This requires you to have possession/control of vehicle keys when not in use.
Golf carts are a LEGAL motorized vehicle and driving or riding in these vehicles can lead to
serious injury, property damage and even death. No excessive speed, joyriding, or any type
of unreasonable activity with the golf cart will be tolerated.
You must not attempt to transport more people than the cart is designed for.
If the management determines in its sole discretion that you have misused the golf cart in
any way, it will require an immediate return without a refund. WE DO NOT GIVE WARNINGS.
WE WILL TAKE YOUR GOLF CART WITHOUT REFUND!
Additional Fees to be Enforced for lost, stolen, broken, or misuse include but are not
limited to the following:
Charging Cable: $125.00
Extension Cord: $75.00
Lost Key: $50.00
Emergency Pick-Up: $395.00 (Due to negligence or lack of charging)
Broken Windshield: $495.00
Pick-up Delay Due to Customer Negligence: $150
If any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining
portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Lessee acknowledges receipt of equipment below which is found by Lessee to be in
working condition with noted exceptions.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO THE TERMS ABOVE. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MYSELF, AND ANYONE ELSE I ALLOW TO OPERATE THIS CART.
I understand that a credit card will be needed and be authorized at the commencement of
my rental for a damage deposit ($300 PER CART) of the repair cost of the golf carts rented.
I am responsible for the return of this equipment in the same state in which I received it. I
agree to pay in full for any repairs or replacement if the equipment is damaged. Late
returns will be charged at $150 per day.
You are responsible for knowing and obeying the rules and regulations for the community
where you are staying. You are responsible for knowing the communities rules about golf
rental allowance. There will be no refunds once payment has been made (this includes
severe weather including tropical storms and hurricanes. We always recommend travelers
insurance for situations such as this).
I authorize any and all NEW damages caused or resulting during my rental time
period to be charged to the card listed below. I incur ALL costs, including lost
rental wages during the repair time. I hereby request photos and copies of any
and all damages reported to be emailed to me should an incident arise.
Any cancellations within the 30 day window will be NON-REFUNDABLE. More
than 30 days are 100% REFUNDABLE.
